Tim Baechle
General ManagerTim Baechle has over 20+ years of global experience in the CPG, converting and printing/packaging technology, ranging from engineering-design, operations, brand strategy, brand scaling, platforming, supply chain formation and management, brand equity, workflow automation, process control, print methodologies, ISO standardization, materials, sustainability, finance and M&A. He successfully built two start-ups, building them globally and then to acquisition, he has been involved in start-ups to turn-arounds and also led a global think tank. His career has taken him all over the world including: South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Dayton.
community involvement
2019 was a busy year for the ePac Austin location. The team co-hosted a handful of events and tours at their manufacturing plant, such as Food + Tech Austin, a meetup group that connects brands with people in the food and tech industries to accelerate the good food innovation movement.
ePac Austin had the opportunity to participate in the Food Incubation Summit, a conference for food kitchen operators, incubator administrators, and industry service providers from all over the US. ePac’s CMO, Carl Joachim, spoke on a panel about helping food businesses scale with services, and the plant served as a stop on the Austin Food System bus tour, where attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility and participate in a Q&A about their platform and partnership opportunities.
An active sponsor of the local Naturally Network chapter, ePac Austin has regularly attended industry events such as the annual Naturally Austin Pitch Slams, and even had one of our customers, Slice of Sauce, pitch their company to the panel of judges in the fall of 2019. The Naturally Network is dedicated to fostering sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship and innovation within local natural products food communities.
